ABOUT LUNLUNTAWINES
Lunlunta is the expression of our passion, our culture, our homeland.
The wines we make reflect the spirit of the men and women who work on these lands, because there is a unique relationship between the earth, the vines and the winemakers who work their magic here. We are proud to inherit the traditions of our ancestors who worked and love this land. It is their stories we tell through our wines.
OUR VINEYARDS
Our vineyards lie 930 metres above sea level in the superb winegrowing district of Lunlunta, in the Luján de Cuyo departamento of the Mendoza region (Argentina). This beautiful district nestles between the Lunlunta hills and the cascading Mendoza river and is dominated by the imposing backdrop of the Argentinian Andes.
OUR PRODUCTS
RESERVA MALBEC “FARINA”
Wine for aging, harvested in 2017 and 2018. On the nose you appreciate red ripe fruits with hints of almond and nuts. Black fruit in the mouth with notes of vanilla and cocoa from the barrel. The wine is deep red ruby in colour with hints of purple. This is a 100% Malbec variety, aged over a period of 14 months in French oak barrels. Only 906 bottles were produced.
MALBEC ROSÉ “HO-HO”
A very appealing and sensual wine, harvested in 2019. In nose, we appreciate notes of fresh fruits (red berries and cherries). In the mouth, a full-body wine, well defined and intensely fruity, with smooth and sweet tannins. And a bright and translucent salmon pink color.
MALBEC “HO-HO”
This is a young wine, 2019 vintage, concentrated in red fruits, such as cherries and plums, and spice aromas reminiscent of white pepper. A brilliant ruby red wine with violet hints. Fermentation done in stainless steel tanks of 2.500 litres for seven months, followed by a shorter period in oak barrels.
ACEITE DE OLIVA “FINCA LA NARCY”
Blend of 70% Arauco - 30% Arbequina, Empeltre and Manzanilla olives. This oil comes from ancient plants located in Lujan de Cuyo, where Arauco is the principal variety.
